The slogan and call to “Bring Them Home,” often with the word “Now” at the end, has been heard throughout the world.

Bring Them Home

This concert is powerful. No matter what side of the political and religious spectrum people are on, everyone agrees that the hostages must be released. Everyone cares for these innocent Jewish men, women, and children who were brutally taken from their homes. They didn’t deserve it. They didn’t do anything wrong. And we want them home. We are praying that the world hears the call of “Bring Them Home.” We are praying that the good people in the world who can do something (without giving into terrorists’ demands) will do something to put pressure on those who actually can bring our hostages home.

Hamas has been holding these innocent Israelis hostage for months. They are being tortured. They are being subjected to brutal treatment – things that we cannot and don’t want to imagine. The world needs to know, and the world needs to care.

This concert is a powerful way to get people’s attention. It’s a beautiful prayer and a beautiful sign of unity.

Let’s pray that this war ends soon with the complete destruction of Hamas and with the return of our hostages and soldiers alive and healthy. Prayer makes a difference. G-d hears us. G-d sees us. He sees us uniting, praying, and doing acts of kindness for each other. May real peace come speedily in our days with the building of the third and final Temple and the coming of the Mashiach!
