India recently came out at the UN in continued support of the Two State “Solution” as the only solution for the Israel-“palestine” conflict.

While addressing the United Nations Security Council, Indian Permanent Representative to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj said, “No alternative to the two-State solution to guarantee lasting peace between Israel and Palestine and direct negotiation the only path that can lead us there.” “India has consistently advocated against all acts of violence,” she added.

Over the last few years the India-Israel strategic alliance has been hailed as a breakthrough and a culmination of warming ties. The relationship between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has been said to be extremely close. So what happened?

BRICS Beginning to Dominate

With the rise of the BRICS+ (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and more) countries as an alternate global economic network, Israel finds itself pulled into two different directions. On one hand it enjoys its relationship with India and its ability to deal with Russia, but on the other hand it is not willing to leave the Western orbit. Before the Ukrainian war, Israel’s juggling act worked, but not anymore.

With Israel forced to pick the West’s side in the war and India’s partnership with Russia, the Israel-India strategic alliance appears to have it a glitch.

What all of this shows us, is that Israel must stop trying to rely on alliances which come and go – including its alliance with America and instead rely on the only thing has ever mattered – G-D above.
