An Arab terrorist wounded 5 and killed one Jewish man in the Givat Avot neighborhood of Kiryat Arba in an attempt to assassinate MK Itamar Ben Gvir.
Ben Gvir and his family were told to stay indoors during the incident.
One 50 year old Jewish man was murdered in the shooting and the others’ wounds range from light to serious. The terrorist was killed at the scene after he was run over and neutralized.
The attacker was able to find his way into Givat Avot due to the Army deciding to open a roadblock that had been closed for 20 years.
