The Italy Analogy that Proves Anti-Zionism is Antisemitism

Is anti-Zionism antisemitism? It seems obvious, but for those who don’t get it, maybe this will clarify things.

Anti-Zionism is Antisemitism

What is so confusing about this? If you don’t believe that the Jewish state has a right to exist, then you don’t like the Jews. Especially if the Jewish state is the ONLY state you are targeting. Anti-Zionism is therefore synonymous with antisemitism. That is a matter of fact, not a matter of opinion.

Dennis Prager has explained it many times before, but for those who work well with analogies, this Italy analogy brings it home. You can’t say that you hate Italy and don’t believe it has the right to exist, but then claim you have nothing against Italians.

Criticism of Israel

No one claims that it is wrong to criticize Israel. Israelis themselves criticize things about the government and certain policies. That is part of democracy. But criticism and denying a country the right to exist are different. Demonizing Israel is NOT the same thing as criticizing it. Standing with terrorists as they launch thousands of rockets as Israel is not the same thing as criticizing a democracy. It is just not, and no one can claim it is.

The other problem is that not only does much of the world criticize Israel, but they do it on fall pretenses. They do it while spreading lies. And Prager goes into the lies in the this video and dismantles them all.

So the next time someone wants to tell you that anti-Zionism is not antisemitism, just send them this video.
