America and Israel built their countries off of morals.

Learning history is crucial for the continuity of all the values that we hold dear. When people forget their history, they forget how they got to the place they got to. They forget the struggles that their country and people fought to overcome.
Forgetting the past leads to nowhere good. We have seen the results of Americans not knowing history and forgetting how America got to the place it did. If you only remember the negative parts of history and not the positive, you are missing the whole picture. And how can you see the truth if you only have half the puzzle completed?
