Many months following the decisive election of Mr. Mamdani to the job of Mayor of New York, it is becoming clear that this is no aberration, but part of a wave that is going through the entire Democrat Party. The Socialist Democrats really want to “redistribute” any money they can lay their hands on and hand it out to all of the people who voted for them.

The amount of money that Mayor Mamdani plans to hand out is in the hundreds of millions and of course, he has figured out where he is going to get it from – the billionaires. Have any of his advisors mentioned to him that this will lead these billionaires to move out of State and therefore cause New York to lose hundreds of millions of dollars in tax revenues?
The saddest aspect of the Mamdani revolution is that it will ensure that no sane politician will be elected to the position of Mayor for a very long time. New York is going in the direction of California. The earlier one moves out the better. The train is already half off the cliff and no new conductor is on the horizon.
