WhatsappDespite serious disagreement with some of the top military leaders in the IDF, sources within the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) have confirmed that Prime Minister Netanyahu has decided to militarily conquer all of Gaza and finish off Hamas. The decision is said to have been taken with consultations with the Trump administration after seeing Hamas strengthen its positions in the ceasefire-hostage release negotiations.
Jewish residents were expelled 20 years ago this week from Gaza in a move that a majority of Israelis now see as the root cause of October 7th. Given Hamas’ intransigence and support for a “palestinian state” pouring in from around the world, Israel’s government is left with little choice but to act and reverse the curse of the Disengagement Plan that was carried out in 2005.
Despite Israel’s Deep State coming out firmly against Israel’s obligation to retake all of Gaza and apply military rule over it, the current government understands that it is the only option left. Hamas doesn’t want a deal and rather use up time in the expectation that their propaganda further isolates Israel around the world.
The IDF may be tired, but a clear plan that focuses on wiping out Hamas and reoccupying the Gaza Strip with a full military government should galvanize the public to back it. While the naysayers against the move busy themselves with scaring the citizenry, they fail to mention that Israel already controls between 65% and 75% of Gaza. Hamas is very weak and their only card are the hostages. Conquering Gaza takes the hostages off the table. This does not mean they are being sentenced to death, but rather Hamas’ ability to use the hostages to freeze Israel in a war of attrition is no longer on the table.
If the next stage in the war against Hamas is successful, Gaza will once again be under Israel’s full military control – correcting the historic injustice of the Disengagement and at the same time safeguarding Israel for generations. The World will not like it, but at the end of the day, freeing Gaza from a death cult that has millions of followers across Gaza and now around the world, is the first stage to unravelling the Green-Red alliance that seeks to sow chaos and upheaval around the world.
