I have total respect for any medical expert or professional who says “listen, yes, the vaccines are not approved by the FDA. The FDA only gave emergency use authorization because of the situation we are in with the virus. While I can not say for sure how safe the vaccine is, and I can’t promise that no short or long-term damage will happen, I still advise you to take the vaccine”. That is a professional opinion I would respect because it lays out the reality of the situation and allows the patients to have informed consent before deciding whether or not to take the vaccine. But I have found few doctors or medical professionals who talk like today, with regards to the covid vaccines.
One such doctor who supports that approach is Israeli Dr. Eran Dolev, a former Head Doctor of the IDF and a former head of Israel’s Medical Ethics Organization. You can hear a recording of him (in Hebrew) in the video here.
Dr. Dolev is one of Israel’s respected medical professionals who recently resigned from his voluntary position on a government coronavirus committee because they wouldn’t take his advice along those lines to properly inform pregnant women about the vaccine before they would agree to take it. He was personally against giving pregnant women the vaccine. His suggestion to at least give pregnant women the proper information for informed consent was denied and he therefore resigned.
Bottom line, the situation today is all about trust. Who do you trust regarding the information?
Many of us today are losing more and more trust in the medical professionals/government/media because we see them pushing a 100% fear-based approach, to scare people to take an experimental vaccine while hiding the full complex/confusing truth about the virus, existing medical treatments and the vaccines, from the masses. That is extremely worrying and makes many of us lose more and more trust in “professionals” we want to trust. Yes, there is a virus, and yes people are dying from it, but people also have very real concerns, based on very real information, about the “vaccine-for-all” direction, and those concerns are totally legitimate.
As of this moment, most Israeli adults have been vaccinated, many pregnant women have been vaccinated, and now, the newest scare-campaign is to vaccinate all of Israel’s children.
Again, don’t get me wrong. I have total respect for everyone regardless of the personal medical decision they make, whether to take the vaccine or not.
My voice is for free choice and mutual respect while exposing the dangerous campaign, shaming and atmosphere, that has taken over our communities, friends and families. People today actually support removing rights, and free speech, from those who voice concerns about the vaccines and the green-passport, mandatory vaccine solution. That is horrifying.
There are some who see the quick development of the covid-19 vaccine as a miracle solution, and who take pride in the fact that Israel, under Netanyahu’s leadership, is now the vaccination nation. A position that makes sense if you believe that the vaccine is truly the solution to our situation.
On the other side, there are those who see the vaccine solution with concern, already causing damage to a growing percentage of vaccinated people, with potential future side effects, and therefore, unnecessary as a mandatory procedure for all, since medical treatments already exist and can be used – if doctors and medical institutions would finally be allowed to prescribe them without the fear of being censored or fired.
Ultimately, it’s all about who one trusts for information and it baffles me that so many people are trusting an experimental vaccine, with no long-term data, while the pharmaceutical industry is known to be deeply compromised with regards to vaccines and medications. Based on the history and the “science”, there is plenty of room for skepticism until more data is available about the efficacy and safety of the covid-19 vaccines.
Let’s just look at some of the main reasons why people are so skeptical about big pharma, the CDC and our governments pushing the “vaccine for all” direction:
#1: Let’s take a step back and start with Faucci himself, the CDC and their reputation for pushing vaccines.
Let’s start with the flu in 2003…
Back in 2014 the Huffington Post wrote a detailed article titled: “Don’t believe everything you read about flu deaths”.
Excerpts from the article:
During the 2003 flu season “the (vaccine) manufacturers were telling us that they weren’t receiving a lot of orders for vaccine,”Dr. Glen Nowak, associate director for communications at CDC’s National Immunization Program, told National Public Radio. “It really did look like we needed to do something to encourage people to get a flu shot.”
“The typical estimate (from flu) is 36,000 [deaths] a year in the United States,” reports NBC, citing the Centers for Disease Control.
However, according to the National Vital Statistics System in the U.S., for example, annual flu deaths in 2010 amounted to just 500 per year.
Dr. Glen Nowak then put together the following plan of action for the CDC, titled the “Seven-Step ‘Recipe’ for Generating Interest in, and Demand for, Flu (or any other) Vaccination,” presented at the 2004 National Influenza Vaccine Summit.:”Medical experts and public health authorities [should] publicly (e.g. via media) state concern and alarm (and predict dire outcomes) – and urge influenza vaccination.” This recipe, his slide show indicated, would result in “Significant media interest and attention … in terms that motivate behavior (e.g. as ‘very severe,’ ‘more severe than last or past years,’ ‘deadly’).”
Other emotive recommendations included fostering “the perception that many people are susceptible to a bad case of influenza” and “Visible/tangible examples of the seriousness of the illness (e.g., pictures of children, families of those affected coming forward) and people getting vaccinated (the first to motivate, the latter to reinforce).”
END OF ARTICLE EXCERPTS
So, we see that back in 2004, the CDC developed a scare-tactic marketing plan to get people to take the flu vaccine, a vaccine the people didn’t feel the need to take. Yet, for whatever reason, the CDC wanted everyone to take it even though the “science” showed that it wasn’t needed.
As the Canadian organization called the Consumer Policy Institute wrote in an article back in 2004 titled : “Vaccine Totalitarians”: The CDC’s phony crisis over the flu vaccine.
“Americans aren’t being told (and we aren’t either) that the real manufacturer at fault is a U.S. government agency, the Centers for Disease Control, along with the World Health Organization and other vaccinate-anything-that-moves ideologues that have fabricated a phony crisis over the flu vaccine.”
Now let’s jump ahead to the swine flu of 2009.
Just listen to the video attached below of Dr. Faucci. It sounds as if he is talking today. There is no difference. He was telling the reporter that the vaccine is not “brand new” and explaining why everyone should take the vaccine. The segment is titled (at the bottom) Faucci: More risk in not getting vaccine (sound familiar?)
Hence, once again, in 2009, Faucci and the CDC created a fear-campaign to have people believe that they must take a vaccine.
And low and behold we are experiencing that exact fear campaign today for the coronavirus/covid-19 vaccine.
So, no, I do not trust the motives of Dr. Faucci and the CDC.
Why is a vaccine their only solution each and every time? I have no clue, but the pattern is clear.
And this did not start with Faucci.
Back in 1976 the American authorities pushed 46 million Americans to take a vaccine against the swine flu. 4,000 people who took the vaccine had neurological damage or died.
This was reported upon by Mike Wallace of 60 Minutes: (youtube removed this 60 Minutes video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIFnmuiW7I8&feature=youtu.be)
Was that vaccine necessary? I don’t know, but it is totally wrong to brush off people’s real concerns about the need for everyone to take a vaccine when it could lead to potential health issues and even death.
I don’t think many people will attack Mike Wallace for “fake news” and being an anti-vaxxer for exposing this. So why is everyone today shamed for being an anti-vaxxer, and hence discredited for voicing concerns regarding the covid-19 vaccines?
#2 Now let’s jump ahead into the concerns about the pharmaceutical industry.
Big Pharma has made a LOT of mistakes, ruined a lot of lives, and paid out a lot of money for their mistakes.
Let’s start with Vioxx:
Merck had to pay nearly $5 billion to settle lawsuits from consumers because of the massive amounts of people who had heart attacks and strokes thanks to the painkiller Vioxx.
Read about it on NPR here and in the LA Times here.
Now let’s look into Opioids:
Opiods caused more than 400,000 deaths between the years of 1999-2017, and that number does not include the massive amount of lives ruined because of the addiction it caused.
Again, opioids were prescribed by trusted doctors for years.
Purdue Pharma pad out between $10 billion to $12 billion to settle more than 2,000 lawsuits against the company.
Read about it in the Guardian here and on NBC News here.
These are just two of many cases where pharmaceutical companies had to recall medicines or vaccines, and the billions of dollars in damages they had to pay out.
Plenty of medications work. I’m not here to tell people to stop taking medications. I just don’t understand why people are rushing to shame people who have legitimate concerns over an experimental vaccine without approval from the FDA, when the pharmaceutical industry is known for making huge mistakes with medications and vaccines that have ruined many lives, even medications and vaccines that have received FDA approvals.
Let’s now delve into the conflict of interest regarding the pharmaceutical industry:
Here is something to internalize from Professor Leemon McHenry, a bioethicist and Professor Emeritus of Philosophy at California State University. Prof. McHenry also held visiting research positions at Johns Hopkins University, UCLA and at the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in the University of Edinburgh. His research interests center on medical ethics, metaphysics, and the philosophy of science. Prof. McHenry wrote a book titled ‘The Illusion of Evidence-Based Medicine’.
You can hear him in the video below where he speaks about the fraudulent core of ghostwritten studies in medical journals, the money given by big pharma to politicians, revolving-door regulatory agencies, pay-to-play medical journals, and the “key opinion leaders” who lend their academic credentials to giant corporations…for a price.
Unfortunately, it is not so hard to find out about the various conflicts of interest in the big-pharma, medical journals world.
Pharma is HUGE business, and the companies have a lot of money to influence doctors, hospitals, research institutes and medical journals. Here are just a few examples that justify anyone’s concerns with the information we are told:
- Standard UK: AstraZeneca takes $6m hit after ‘faking conferences’ to bribe doctors
- New York Times: Ghostwriting Is Called Rife in Medical Journals
- New York Times: Medical Papers by Ghostwriters Pushed Therapy
- New York Times: Payments to Doctors by Pharmaceutical Companies Raise Issues of Conflicts
- New York Times: Doctors’ Ties to Drug Makers Are Put on Close View
- Washington Post: When drug firms give doctors free lunches, costlier prescriptions may result
- Washington Post: Big Pharma gives your doctor gifts. Then your doctor gives you Big Pharma’s drugs.
- Global News Canada: Big pharma paid $151M to doctors, hospitals in 2017-18, but we don’t know who got paid or why
- DrugWatch: Big Pharma Paid $3.5 Billion to Doctors, Hospitals in 2013
To sum this all up, here are some quotes from actual medical journal editors-in-chiefs:
Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime editor-in-chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ) was outspoken about the broken system of medical journals in this article:
“It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of the New England Journal of Medicine.”
Dr. Richard Horton, editor-in-chief of the Lancet – considered to be one of the most well-respected peer-reviewed medical journals in the world is quoted here saying:
“The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness.”
Again, all I’m trying to prove, is that questions and concerns about a vaccine are totally ok, especially with the history of big pharma and the medical establishment.
The ability to voice concerns and questions about medications and vaccines should be 100% allowed and respected. Nobody should be shamed for doing so. And everyone’s decisions should be respected, whether they decide to take a vaccine or not.
#3: Now let’s move on to the conflict of interest regarding Pfizer and Israel:
Did you know that Pfizer is the largest donor to Israel’s Ministry of Health? In 2018 Pfizer donated over 10 million Shekels to Israel’s Ministry of Health and in 2019 it gave 8 million shekels.
The Ministry of Health document documenting the 2018 donation is posted here (in Hebrew).
Many of Israel’s top doctors and medical professionals today making decisions regarding the vaccine also have received grants and consulting fees from Pfizer and other big pharma companies, including Dr. Gila Rahav, the head of the Infectious Diseases Unit at the Sheba Medical Center.
Dr. Rahav just recently made headline news in Israel when she suggested, on Israeli TV, that Israel should mass-vaccinate all children as the trial for prizer, even though pfizer itself has not done a vaccine trial for children!
Honestly, that is an extremely scary thing to hear from any “expert”.
I’m not saying that Israel has made its vaccine decisions because of this conflict of interests. But it is possible that some of the advice by “experts” in Israel were swayed by financial interests. They are all human, and all humans are flawed, no matter how expert they are in anything. There is a reason people “follow the money” when researching questionable actions. Again, it might be that this is not applicable here, but there is definitely room for concern.
#4: Now let’s dive into the Pfizer agreement with Israel.
It has been widely reported that Pfizer has been demanding harsh demands from countries as collateral in their negotiations for the vaccine.
Pfizer has demanded that countries pass laws and put up sovereign assets as collateral, like bank reserves, military bases and even embassy buildings. Argentina and Brazil are two countries that said NO to Pfizer’s demands. As reported here.
What did Israel agree to in the agreement with Pfizer?
We don’t know because the agreement is redacted and Israel has made the full agreement secret for the next 30 years.
Additionally, the actual agreement between Israel and Pfizer isn’t a purchasing agreement but a “Project agreement”. Here is a link to the agreement (in English).
The agreement is actually about joining together to conduct a project on the Israeli people to test if herd immunity works. Whether one agrees with this or not is not the issue. This is what the Israeli government agreed to do and people should know that.
Again, all of this information has made me and others have grave concerns over Israel’s decision to push forward with a “green passport” direction pressuring citizens of all ages to get vaccinated.
Then we go to all the misinformation and censorship of information.
– Israelis are not being informed about the questionable PCR tests that even the WHO came out and said are not reliable.
– Israelis are not being informed about how many of the 6,000 people who died of corona died because of corona vs with corona. Those stats make a huge difference.
– Israelis are not being informed about the actual amount of pregnant women who died from the coronavirus. We recently experienced a massive scare campaign that pressured pregnant women in Israel to get vaccinated. Well, someone contacted Israel’s Ministry of Health to find out the actual number of pregnant women who got sick with the virus and died from the virus. Here is the official response from the Ministry of Health below (in Hebrew, with an English explanation below).
The numbers are as follows: 7,415 pregnant women got sick with the virus through January 2021. Only one pregnant woman died while also having the virus, but not necessarily because of it. That is the official information from the Ministry of Health, yet all pregnant women in Israel have been blasted with a tremendous scare campaign to get vaccinated.
Following this scare campaign for pregnant women to get vaccinated, now they have started a scare campaign to pressure all kids to get vaccinated.
There is no room for rational conversations or concerns about the vaccine when people are scared into taking it by a massive scare campaign.
Again, I can’t trust any doctor who tells a pregnant woman that the vaccine is safe. Sorry, he can’t know that. He can say he doesn’t know, but he still advises taking the vaccine. But he can’t say that it’s safe.
Many pregnant women have had miscarriages soon after receiving the vaccine. It is connected? Maybe. Maybe not. But no doctor can say for certain that they know the vaccine is safe for pregnant women. (screenshot of an article on the issue below. Can’t post the link on Facebook)
I’m just concerned with the public receiving factual information to make informed decisions. And what worries me is the utter lack of respect for conversations based on factual information.
This is all in addition to the concerns I have already voiced:
– The suppression of information about existing medical treatments that could have saved many lives
– The doubts regarding lockdowns, social distancing and mandatory vaccines based on the fact that many places without those things are doing similarly as the other countries:
Scare campaigns:
Existing medical treatments and studies
Pregnant women:
– Censorship of information:
Again, everyone should do their own research, speak to medical experts and listen to the experts whom they trust for advice. However, I would only trust those who respect your real concerns and questions and don’t belittle you or what you have to say.
This is my advice on being the best medical advocate you can be for yourself and your loved ones:
Praying for a true redemption, in many, many ways. And good health for all!
