People go to the Western Wall to pray for many different things. Some pray for themselves, some for others, some both. This time, the prayer was for Trump.

Pray for Trump at the Western Wall

It is common to go to the Western Wall to pray to G-d for health, success, financial sustenance, and more. People not only pray for themselves, but they pray for others as well. Some pray to find their match in marriage, some pour their hearts out to be blessed with children, and some are asking G-d to do well on a test in school or things that seem “small” but are actually not. Turning to G-d for anything is what G-d wants – not just for the seemingly “big” things.

This time, the prayer was for health – health for the President of the United States. Seeing the chief rabbis of Israel pray for his wellbeing attests to the strong relationship between Israel and the Us.

The Bond Between Trump & the Jews

President Trump has shown time and time again that he stands with Israel and the Jewish people. He has shown the world that he rejects antisemitism and condemns those who reject Israel. Whether it be through his words or his actions, Trump has been one of the best, if not the best, president for Israel and the Jews.

The least that the Jewish people and Israel could do in return was to pray for his full recovery.

And pray they did. Having the chief rabbis of Israel join together in prayer is powerful.
