Bibi Finally Says No To Biden – Now What?

Prime Minister Netanyahu cancelled Israel’s delegation set to depart for the US to discuss the looming Rafah operation in reaction to the Biden administration allowing the UN Security Council’s ceasefire to pass.

As surprising as this move by Prime Minister Netanyahu is for its forcefulness and clear breakdown between Israel and the US – it was a long time coming. For weeks if not months, the differences between the Biden Administration, which is filled Woke ideologues and Islamic apologists has been fraying in front of the entire world.

Bibi and his rightwing allies have continued to grow angrier with the Biden administration’s attempt to hold the IDF back from winning the war against Hamas by invading Rafah, the last major stronghold of Hamas that has yet to be touched by Israel’s ground forces. With Biden’s abstention at the UN – Bibi and the government got what they needed to finally say no to the US.

This of course is not the worst thing. For months the Prime Minister has been trying to find a way to shake off the faux bear hug Biden gave him and Israel after October 7th. The UN vote on Shushan Purim was the way out. Freedom occurs in many ways and freedom to destroy our enemies can only come because we decide that we must protect ourselves first. On Purim, it was the machinations behind the scenes that led to Achashverosh executing Haman and giving the Jews the right to defeat our enemies. But that was in Shushan – outside of Israel.

The Jewish Nation has returned home. We need no one’s permission to save ourselves for in the Land of Israel we are free to carry out the continuing redemptive vision the prophets exhorted us to fulfill. Biden’s team, the UN, Egypt or Jordan have no say in any of this.

When Yaakov and Eisav parted ways they parted ways on good terms, but at the end of the day they parted ways in order for Yaakov to fulfill the vision of Avraham and Yitzhak. Like him or not, Netanyahu’s cancellation of the delegation which was designed to convince America to let us win an existential war, allows Israel to chart a course that guarantees its survival.

The invasion of Rafah will occur and it will occur at a moment of Israel’s choosing - not America’s. From here on out - Israel is on its own - exactly where it is meant to be.
