Party leaders Yair Lapid, Benny Gantz,& ex-parliamentarian Yair Golan are calling for the masses to storm the streets and civil rebellion, yet they blame Netanyahu for starting a civil war? I think they have things backwards.
Before delving into the details of this issue, it is first imperative to understand that to fall for these scare tactics and headlines in the press. These people do not speak truth or represent truth. There will be no civil war in Israel. Even with the disagreements, we are one people. Families, friends and neighbors all have different opinions, belong to different political/ideological camps. We are one people. Again, there will be no civil war.
Such a sad reality, reported totally backwards by the establishment media.
In reality, we are witnessing just another deflection of the left when they lose a democratic election, yet they absurdly claim its “undemocratic”.
Thankfully, their calls for civil rebellion don’t represent the people, they don’t even represent a majority of their own voters. In reality, they represent powerful, “progressive”, really regressive, interests that want to weaken the Jewish state of Israel and now they feel threatened by the first ever proudly Jewish and nationalist government that has come to implement its political platform.
People must understand that despite the scary headlines, and despite the deep arguments, we are still brothers, and there will not be a civil war, just leftist anarchy that we will overcome.
On top of it all, the utter absurdity of this situation is that Yair Lapid and Benny Gantz led the “no-Bibi” camp, literally boycotting Netanyahu!
They could have been in this government and prevented Bibi from establishing this historic, first-ever proudly Jewish/nationalist government that today exists. Yet, Lapid & Gantz wouldn’t even talk to Bibi, let alone join his government!
This situation is totally their fault. They have nobody else to blame but themselves.
Yet, now they call for a civil war because Bibi plans to implement policies that the Likud and his political partners campaigned for?
This is totally absurd and backwards, yet hardly reported as such on the establishment media.
Don’t worry, the situation is similar to a Lion backed into a corner fighting for its life. That’s the left today in Israel.
By the way, if the left truly cared about “protecting the weak” they wouldn’t let the Supreme Court ignore the plight of the poor in neighborhoods overtaken by the horrific crime of the illegal migrants.
If the left truly cared about protecting the weaker communities in society they wouldn’t let the Supreme Court harm the religious sensitivities of the Ultra-Orthodox community, that is a minority.
If the left truly cared about individual rights then they wouldn’t have left the Supreme Court dismiss the rights of 10,000 Jews expelled from their homes in Gush Katif, Gaza back in the summer of 2005.
That same Supreme Court stops the IDF from destroying rooms in terrorist’s homes because of the implications on the terrorist’s families, but they did nothing to protect the rights of 10,000 Jews whose homes were destroyed and families expelled, while ruining their lives.
The hypocrisy of the left screams to high heavens.
Again, the left’s true agenda does not represent half of the Jewish public in Israel. It just has all the media pumping out it’s messages so it sounds worse than it is.
But hold on. We will overcome. We are one nation. We have experienced worse before. You need two sides for a civil war, and here there even isn’t one side interested in it, just loud, powerful and dangerous voices. We will overcome.
Am Yisrael Chai!!!
