Most experts find this claim very unrealistic. Israel does have the capability to certainly cause extreme damage to the Iranian nuclear program, but destroying it is very unrealistic.
At the same time, Iran also claims that it will destroy Israel’s nuclear facility at Dimona using ballistic missiles. Israel’s air defenses render this a moot point.
So what is the purpose of these duel claims? In a sense, both countries are trying to psyche the other out and in the mean time prepare for war.
