If you have never been to the Golan Heights, it is definitely worth the visit to Israel’s north. You will be surrounded by absolutely stunning scenery. But the Golan Heights is also an important strategic location. If Israel does not control it, it will become a war zone. Israel will be face to face with Iran. In the past, the Golan has been used as a place to launch attacks on Israel. The Jewish state will not allow that to happen again.
Will the US Change its Policy?
After Lindsey Graham’s tour of the Golan Heights, he said, “What’s best for America is for a safe, secure, and prosperous Israel. Why? Common values, common enemies, and from a military point of view, the best friend the United States could possibly ever have in a troubled region…I’ve got a simple message. I will go back to the United States Senate. Working with Senator Cruz, I will start an effort to recognize the Golan as part of the State of Israel now and forever.”
The question is, will America actually change its policy? Will they understand why it is completely necessary for Israel to remain in control of the Golan forever?
