WhatsappA raid on a former President’s home is an unprecedented action. Is the Department of Justice being weaponized by the Democrat leadership of the USA? This seems like major overreach. Or is there some major conspiracy that will be uncovered by the FBI? It seems very doubtful that anything major will be unearthed. Hannity is probably right in noting that this is probably a political investigation to discredit Donald Trump. As opposed to nearly any other former President, Donald Trump is a serious candidate in 2024, and the Democrats are beginning to show that there will be no red lines when it comes to keeping Donald Trump out of the White House.
There are two things that Americans are not talking about that they need to realize will almost definitely happen. Firstly, Kamala Harris will either become President after Joe Biden resigns or Kamala Harris will be the front-runner in the Democrat primaries in 2024. Secondly, Donald Trump wants to be President for a 2nd term and will run in 2024 if he is healthy enough.
Both of these things have major ramifications. Kamala Harris is a Black Lives Matter supporter which places her squarely in the most radical 10% of the American population. She is one heartbeat away from the Oval Office. Donald Trump, whether you support him or not, is perhaps the most divisive person to have ever occupied the White House.
Even if you support most of his policies, as I do, that does not mean that a 2nd term of Donald Trump is a better option than a Republican Presidency by Mike Pompeo, Ron DeSantis, or Nikki Haley. Donald Trump mobilizes the left and scares much of the center of the American electorate. None of the three other options do.
An election between Kamala Harris and anyone except for Donald Trump would probably lead to a shellacking of Kamala Harris. An election between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris would be fascinating from a statistical point of view but horrible from the vantage point of putting America back into a state of healing.
Yes, America needs to heal from the tumultuous 8 years of Obama, followed by 4 years of Trump, followed by at least 2 years of Biden. Nikki Haley may very well emerge as the most unifying candidate of all. She is right of center, and has even put some daylight between her and Donald Trump.
But the main lesson of this FBI investigation is to beware of massive overreach that will be employed by Democrats in order to kill off a potential 2nd Term of Donald Trump.
