The reason Israel’s enemies should give up now

by Leah Rosenberg

Century after century, decade after decade, year after year, and day after day, Israel’s enemies have tried to destroy it. They won’t win.

Israel’s Enemies Won’t Succeed

Somehow, after thousands of years of trying to destroy the Jewish people and Israel, Israel’s enemies still have’t learned their lesson. The Jews and the state of Israel have endured some of the worst suffering and wars known to mankind. And yet, the Jewish people are not broken. In fact, they are strong. They build. They live. No one can break G-d’s chosen people. It is impossible. Many have tried, and none have succeeded.

Despite Israel’s challenges from within as well as because of its neighbors, Jews from all over continue to move to Israel – otherwise known as Aliyah. Anita and Fred Naider are two of the millions of Jews who have made Aliyah since the beginning of the modern state of Israel. They had a dream, and they followed it. It may have taken time, but they didn’t give up. Because Jewish people don’t give up. They weren’t deterred from moving to the Jewish homeland. Nothing stopped them.

At the end of the day, no matter how hard it is to pick up and move to another land with a different culture and language, Jews understand that it’s home. They feel part of their nation in their ancient homeland. They feel excited by the thought of being first in line to see and feel the redemption. After all, it’s beginning to happen now before our eyes. The exiled are being brought back from the four corners of the Earth.
