Israeli music is a very broad spectrum of music. Music is an integral part of Israeli society. From the beginning when the pioneers were singing songs to lift up their spirits to 2018 when Israel won the Eurovision song contest.
There are many cool songs within this mashup. Such as Hava Negilah, Hevainu Shalom Aleichem, Mayim Basason, Od Yavo Shalom Aleinu, Chai and many many other wonderful songs.
What do all these songs have in common? Well, they all have a connection to the land of Israel. Hava Nagila is an Israeli classic! Composed in 1915 this song has become part of many celebrations worldwide. Another famous song is Od Yavo Shalom Aleinu. A song asking for peace to come upon us. This is something that people in Israel are always asking for, peace.
Additionally, one of my favorite songs, is right at the end of the video. It is called ‘Eretz Yisroel Sheli’. A song many Israeli children learn in School. It explains all the wonderful things that we built in the land of Israel. For example, a house, we planted a tree, built a road, bridge, and many other things.
Finally, all of these amazing songs are mashed up together so nicely. They all have a connection to the land of Israel. This couple’s voice is truly amazing!

This couple with amazing voices is called Yonina, a mash-up of their two names. Yoni and Nina. They have made some amazing home music videos and shared them on their social media. Yonina also has some great hit songs. One of their videos has reached over 40 million viewers from around the World! How cool?
