The most basic thing to understand about the US and Israel’s war against Iran is that this is not merely a regional war that the United States chose to join. It is not even only about keeping China’s influence in check from dominating in the Middle East. It is true that President Trump is very concerned about China’s spreading economic domination across the world. There is no question that the successful Venezuela takedown of Maduro was connected to China’s involvement in South America. But this war against Iran is a far greater war that transcends the spreading of Chinese influence.

The war against Iran is all about cutting off the head of the snake of the attempt by Islamic fundamentalists to take over the world. Yes, the goal of the Ayatollahs is to take over the world. And they have been making enormous gains over the last four decades.
Most of Europe looks completely different than it used to look just one and a half decades ago. When the most common name of babies in a country is Mohammed, it is just a question of how long till the country becomes dominated by Muslims. And as opposed to the United States, most of the Muslims in Europe do not assimilate into the cultures they move into. The United States also has a growing Muslim population, but the threat is nowhere close to the threats in France, England, Germany, and Belgium.
The biggest issue that the Ayatollahs had with spreading their tentacles further around the world was Benjamin Netanyahu and the State of Israel. Israel is used to being on the frontlines of the battle for freedom across the world. But even Israel, a country that has weathered multiple multi-pronged wars on it’s borders, has not been used to a massive ballistic missile attack from a massively rich country like Iran. But Israel has prevailed and refused to give in and be destroyed.
The goal of the Iranians for Israel is the same as their goal for the rest of the Western world. Iran’s missiles are already able to reach Western Europe and over a short amount of time, they would be able to reach the United States. Ballistic missiles are the first step before creating intercontinental ballistic missiles. This war buried these plans – for now.
Due to the leadership of President Trump, the Iranian threat will either be turned back for at least a decade or perhaps eradicated completely.
