Reports coming out of Syrian media is that Israel attacked Hezbollah and Iranian bases in and around Damascus over the Sabbath. This attack occurred just a few days after PM Bennett’s meeting with Russian President Putin.
While attacks on Iranian forces in Syria have been occurring, it was thought that Putin had stopped allowing Israeli attacks after Bibi was over thrown by Bennett as Israeli PM. This attack has now proven that assumption wrong. What makes the attack unusual is that it used precise ground to ground missiles.
After the blistering attack, most experts believe that Hezbollah will directly retaliate against Israel. With the Vienna talks failing with Iran, it appears that war is coming fast – very fast.
