President Trump on Peace “Two State, One State”, ‘I Don’t Care’

After President Trump mentioned his support for the two state solution in his UN speech, he then took a step back.  He explained that he doesn’t prefer any solution, so long as he gets a deal done.

Two State Solution

Whenever a two state solution is mentioned it refers to splitting the land of Israel into two separate states.  Meaning, the existing state of Israel and a new state called “Palestine.”  There are a number of problems with the two state solution. First of all, the two state solution has been on the diplomatic table for 100 years and the Arabs have always said “no!”  As Einstein is quoted as saying, “Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” When will the world learn that the Arabs are not interested in two states?  They have one consistent interest – to destroy the State of Israel?

False Premise

The main problem with the two state solution is that it is predicated on a false premise.  The premise is that a people exists – ” the palestinians” – who have national rights to land in the Jewish homeland of Israel.

Let’s break that down. First of all, before the 1960s there was no people called “palestinians.”  They were Jordanians in Judea and Samaria and Egyptians in Gaza. Second of all, Arafat and his henchmen themselves claimed that they created the “palestinian” national identity for the sole purpose of destroying Israel.

Which People Are Indigenous to the Land of Israel

Finally, history makes it clear that the Jews are the indigenous people of this land.  The Jews had Jewish Kingdoms, Two Temples and thousands of years of a continuous Jewish presence in this land.  There are universally known and documented Jewish personalities.  However, today’s “palestinians” can’t name even one “palestinian” leader, cultural icon or any person from just 100 years ago!

The two state solution is not a recipe for peace, it is a code name for the destruction of Israel.

One State Solution

The one state solution refers to Israel annexing Judea and Samaria (and some add Gaza).  In this plan, Israel would give citizenship to all the Arabs who live in those areas.

Some people support the two state solution, regardless of the points above.  They are afraid a one state solution will lead to the disappearance of the Jewish majority in Israel.  They argue that demographics will destroy the one and only Jewish State.

While the one state solution has its challenges, what they fail to understand, and prefer to ignore, is that the two state solution is just a code word for destroying Israel.  We should believe what Arafat stated in Arabic right after the Oslo Peace Accords were signed.  ‘It was a temporary truce like Mohammad made, to weaken the enemy, to then destroy them’.

President Trump on Two State, One State

President Trump on “peace” negotiations: “If the Israelis and the Palestinians want one state, that’s okay with me. If they want two states, that’s okay with me.  I want to see if I can get a deal done so that people don’t get killed anymore.”

‘Two states works best, but one state is fine.’

“I like a two-state solution. That’s what I think works best…That’s my feeling…If the Israelis and the Palestinians want one state, that’s OK with me. If they want two states that’s OK with me. I’m happy if they’re happy.”
