Palestinian Arab gets Israeli citizenship after his own people threatened his life

by Leah Rosenberg

You might wonder what this Palestinian Arab did to deserve Israeli citizenship AND have his life threatened by his own people. Here is the story.

The Palestinian Arab Hero

This Palestinian Arab is a true hero. A few years ago in July 2016, Palestinian Arabs terrorists shot at a family driving through Judea and Samaria. Their car flipped over. The father, Rabbi Michael ‘Miki’ Mark was killed. His wife was critically wounded and his children in the car with them were also injured. Why? For being Jews living in their homeland. This family had to experience the worst tragedy just for living peacefully as Jews. Does the world see that?

The man who helped them until first responders came was a Palestinian Arab. A true hero. But because he helped save Jewish lives, his own life was threatened by other Palestinian Arabs.

Receiving Israeli Citizenship

After being forced to flee his home with his family, the Palestinian Arab received a temporary visa to live in Israel. Once that expired, he had nowhere to go. He was homeless. Finally, he was granted Israeli citizenship.

What the world needs to realize is that the Palestinian Arabs punished a hero for saving Jews. That shows something. Many do not want peace. Why would they punish and threaten one of their own for saving innocent lives? That is the opposite of showing the desire for peace. If a Palestinian Arab chooses to side with Israel, they pay a heavy price. That is a sad reality.
