Israeli-Arab ISIS fighter says Assad is worse than Israel

by Avi Abelow

If an Israeli-Arab like this man is able to realize the good Israel has to offer, why can’t the rest of the world? What is so complicated?

Israeli-Arab ISIS Fighter on Israel

Sayyaf Sharif Daoud is a captured Israeli-Arab ISIS fighter who also happens to have Israeli citizenship. In a July 16, 2019 interview on BBC Arabic (U.K.), he explained why he joined ISIS instead of the “Palestinian” resistance. Sayyaf Sharif Daoud lived through the Second Intifada. He lived in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and Israel. He saw with his own eyes that Israel “has not done one percent of what Bashar Al-Assad has done.”

This Israeli-Arab said that despite the tensions between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs, Israel has never raped women or violently killed people like the Assad regime. Daoud claims he regrets joining ISIS. He is hoping that Israel will take him back so he can lead a normal life. And what he said about Israel is even something much of the world will not say! Israel is a democracy. Daoud has not seen injustice there. Arabs and Jews even live amongst each other and are treated equally.

World – Even an ISIS Fighter Sees

After hearing an interview like this, it really makes you wonder how so much of the world demonizes Israel when even a captured ISIS fighter does not condemn the Jewish state! He even can admit that Israel is a democracy that treats Arabs and Jews equally. He can even admit that Israel does not do injustice. So, why can’t you admit it, too?
