WhatsappThe IDF has begun moving its forces into the heart of Gaza City in an attempt to finish off Hamas once and for all. Gaza City has always been seen as the terror group’s symbolic and de facto capital. Israel hopes that by leveling the city and end Hamas’s rule over it, Jihadist forces will finally begin to lose the will to continue the fight and promptly surrender.
Reports from the ground in Gaza, by those who have yet to evacuate, confirm the Gates of Hell that were promised have indeed opened up. One Gazan interviewed by Israel’s Channel 14 said the following:
“It was a very difficult night, as I told you, the gates of hell have opened on Gaza and honestly, in 60 years I have not seen anything like this day, what happened last night.
“Buildings are falling, windows are shattering, doors are breaking, and attacks have been going on non-stop for several days – in the last stronghold of Hamas, there are those who say: the state of the war now is something that has never happened before. There was also a war in the beginning, right, but it was not like that, it was less, now the war has become crazy, without compromise, a hellish war.”
Israel launched its ground invasion of Gaza City while US Secretary of State Marco Rubio was still in Israel. Add to this that he travelled to Doha, Qatar, and is still there while the invasion kicks into high gear, and one begins to see the broader message to Qatar. The message is simple: “Yes, we, the US, appreciate your investment potential and see you as a regional ally, but for that to continue, your support for Jihad must end, and if it doesn’t, our other ally, Israel, will be allowed to end it.”
Hamas, like ISIS in Syria, is a pet project of Qatar and Turkey. In fact, both groups are considered the expeditionary forces of the growing Qatari-Turkish caliphate, and while the Trump administration sees Qatar and Turkey as regional partners, the administration loathes the idea of some sort of hyper-Jihadist caliphate metastasising into an unstoppable juggernaut.
True, Trump keeps saying how he is “disappointed” about Israel’s attack on Qatar, but there is little doubt that he agreed to and allowed it. Rubio is not going to smooth everything over – he is going over to make it clear to Qatar that they must make a choice. They can have US defense participation and partnership, but Hamas must go.
Doha’s meetings with Arab leaders over the last few days are being read by many as an ominous turn of events. However, it reveals who, after all this time, is the true head of the snake – Qatar. Qatar’s plan is to rally the Arab world around them and help them confront Israel. This would effectively end the Abraham Accords.
Rubio’s visit is an attempt to show the Arab world that Trump is not abandoning Israel, and despite the threats, Israel is being encouraged to finish off the Jihadists in Gaza once and for all. Without Hamas and the symbol of global Jihad liberated by Israel, Qatar’s game is over. Sure, they have their propaganda arm in Al Jazeera and have effectively taken down Western Europe, but their ability to defeat Israel on the ground only serves to weaken their own hold on the Arab street.
Israel’s popularity in places like France and England may be slipping, but these countries are being replaced by Hungary, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Poland, and other ethno-homogeneous countries. Defeating Jihad on the battlefield and taking more land currently occupied by Muslim forces deflates the Islamic will to defeat Israel.
Gaza’s last days as a stronghold for the caliphate are upon it. Will Qatar get the message? Or will the ruling family, the Al-Thani’s continue to be the true head of the snake whose goal is not only to destroy Israel, but to sow division and chaos across the world and even in the USA. Unfortunately, Qatar may not learn and will push forward with its agenda to conquer the world; after all, old traditions never die easily. World conquest and the subjugation of the infidels are foundational concepts in Islam. To end this once and for all, one must be willing to confront Qatqar head-on and the Islamism they are pushing onto the whole world.
