It was a moment that will be remembered forever. Are things perfect in the Middle East? No. But this was a huge start.

Abraham Accords Changed the Middle East

The Middle East makes headlines often. Sometimes, it is because of the many hostile countries that exist. Sometimes, it is because of the terror against the one and only Jewish state. But sometimes, the Middle East makes news headlines for good things. The Abraham Accords was a moment in history that changed things for the better. Two years ago, the Trump administration helped facilitate a deal that made steps toward peace between Israel and various Arab countries.

Although things are not perfect and there is still much work to be done, no one can deny how much of a positive impact this has made in the region. The only reason anyone would deny this positive step toward a better future is because they don’t want to give former President Trump any credit for doing something good. But there is really no way to deny the change that the Abraham Accords brought about.

Aside from the practical difference of business deals and more, this deal gave hope that peace is indeed possible. It reminded the world that Israel and its neighbors can be friends. Slowly, the hope is that the friendship between the people and not just the governments will also improve. Aside from doing what we can to better the Middle East and the world, we must pray for the continued improvement in this region and the world at large.
