Israel could not have asked for a better Ambassador than David Friedman. He strongly supports the Jewish state, and that is what Israel needs from America.
Ambassador David Friedman
Friedman was nominated by Trump to be the United States Ambassador to Israel on January 20, 2017. Being a Jew himself allows Friedman to understand many things about the Jewish state. He has always loved coming to Israel.
Hearing Ambassador David Friedman speak is encouraging. He understands what is at risk when it comes to Israel, and he understands the threats Israel faces on a daily basis. Friedman is clear in his actions and words that he would never want to put the Jewish state in harms way. He is not the type of ambassador to throw Israel under the bus. That is exactly what Israel needs from the ambassador.
Moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem
When Trump announced that the U.S. Embassy would be moved to Jerusalem, Ambassador Friedman was completely supportive. More than that, he was beyond thrilled. It was not even a question.
The embassy move to Jerusalem was one of the biggest events in history. It showed the United States’ support for Israel. It officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital – something so many presidents have meaninglessly mentioned without acting upon their words. And President Trump made history along with all his supporters.
Listening to Ambassador David Friedman speak about Israel makes Israel supporters once again feel like they have a friend in the White House.
And THAT is a great feeling.
