Hezbollah terrorists fired an anti-tank missile into the Israeli town of Kfar Yuval today killing a son and his mother.

Barak Ayalon, 48, and his mother Mira, 76, were both killed in Hezbollah’s attack on their home today.

The attack comes on the heels of an attempted infiltration by Hezbollah forces on Har Dov during the night. The heavily armed Hezbollah fighters crossed into Israeli territory using the fog as cover. When they were caught a serious firefight ensued. All of the Hezbollah fighters were eliminated, however IDF soldiers were injured in the gun battle.

The IDF released a recording of the radio communications between the soldiers amid the attack.

“I hear gunfire, I hear gunfire,” one soldier is heard saying.

“Engagement with a number of terrorists, I don’t know how many… I’m hit by a bit of shrapnel, the force is all good,” another soldier says.

“Three terrorists identified, I think we took them down, eliminated three terrorists,” the first soldier says.

This was the largest skirmish between IDF and Hezbollah ground forces since the beginning of the war and may be seen as a testing operation by the Hezbollah fighters.

The increasing tensions and attacks on Israel’s northern border as well as Israel’s responses appear to be heading only in one direction. Part of the reason why Israel is said to have shifted gears in Gaza is to prepare for a far greater regional war that includes Hezbollah in Lebanon and Iranian backed Shiite militias in Syria.

Despite the Biden team’s efforts to prevent such an escalation, the current devastation in Israel’s north and the inability for its residents to return home is compelling Israel’s government to push forward with war plans in Southern Lebanon and perhaps even the Syrian Golan.
