Rockets were fired at Southern Israel from Arab Occupied Gaza during the signing of the Abraham Accords in Washington D.C.

In a direct message to the participants involved in the Abraham Accords, Hamas leadership in Gaza wanted to make it clear that they are not going anywhere.

13 rockets in total were fired early Wednesday morning from Arab occupied Gaza toward Israeli territory.

Eight of the 13 rockets were intercepted by the iron dome. The rest of the rockets exploded in open areas.

The IDF responded by attacking Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip.

The IDF takes all terrorist activity against Israeli territory very seriously and will continue to act as much as necessary against attempts to harm Israeli citizens and their sovereignty. The Hamas terrorist organization bears responsibility for what happens in and out of the Gaza Strip,” the IDF announced in a statement.

Attack ordered by Iran

The attack on Israel in connection to the Abraham Accord is the first of many expected responses by Iran through its proxies against the signees. Iran has directly threatened Bahrain as well as the UAE.
