Famous Jewish singer uses song to teach us the most important lesson

by Chaya Cikk

This famous Jewish singer, known as Avraham Fried teaches such an important lesson. It is amazing how he teaches this lesson with a song. Truly, a pleasure to listen to and learn from.

Jewish Singer

Avraham Fried is a popular singer in the Jewish world. He has had many popular hits, his first hit single was back in 1981! His style of music is mostly pop Jewish music. Fried has many wonderful songs and they are well worth a listen to.

Additionally, there are many other Jewish singers and artists. There are probably some famous artists that you didn’t even know who have Jewish roots. For example, Barbra Streisand, Billy Joel, Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Amy Winehouse, the list is endless.

Important Lesson

If I am I because I am I, and you are you because you are you—then I am I and you are you. But if I am I because you are you, and you are you because I am I—then I am not I and you are not you” Kotzker Rabbi

The important lesson that we need to learn from here is to just be yourself. Everyone was given a purpose to be on this world, you can’t complete your life’s mission by being someone else. You need to be yourself. The best person you can be is yourself. Your value to the world is truly unique, you should share this unique value with others.

Alternatively, one can understand from this that one needs to be somebody. Don’t be that shy person in the background, stand out in the crowd. Do something good in this world. Leave a long-lasting positive effect behind for future generations.

Finally, this is just a good song to listen and I hope you take the important lesson to heart and just be yourself.
