Well, there you have it. CNN producers have decided to bring on guests who equate Donald Trump with Osama Bin Laden. Is this even remotely close to reality? In the minds of some of the far left, yes. With these kinds of “reports” CNN places themselves squarely off the deep end. This is not about having a reality check. It’s about returning to normalcy and avoiding absolute lunacy.
New reporting has become downgraded in the age of social media and 24-hour a day digital reporting. But, it has also become less of a monopoly. As much power as Facebook, Twitter (X), and other platforms have accrued, the bottom line is that anybody can creat their own website and get their opinions out to the public if they have something riveting to say.
That is why amplifying the important things has become a critical need in today’s day and age and exposing the untruths is a critical part of reporting the news. The internet, by it’s very nature has allowed the masses to become watchdogs over the media. This is a good thing and should be applauded. It is one of the main reasons that CNN has continued it;s downward direction over the last 10-20 years.
