The Temple Institute works hard to prepare for the coming of the Third Temple. They want to be all ready because you never know when it can happen. The Messiah and the building of the Third Temple can happen any day. The Temple Institute, or in Hebrew Machon Hamikdash, has made the golden menorah and other items to be used in the Temple. Over the years, they have been trying to raise the perfect red heifer to use its ashes for the Temple.
Although they have not succeeded yet, Machon Hamikdash is determined to produce these special ashes. And with these new red heifers that they are raising, they are hoping that this could be it. There are many rules when it comes to an unblemished red heifer, and the Temple Institute is making sure to follow all of the strict laws that G-d tells us in the Bible.
What are You Doing to Prepare?
We cannot all do what the Temple Institute does to get ourselves ready for the rebuilding of the Third and final Temple. But we can all on our own level prepare ourselves. We can raise ourselves up spiritually by being kinder to others. We can connect more to G-d and follow His commandments. Those things help bring the final redemption closer. It may not be easy, but it is definitely worth it.
