After 326 Days in Hamas Captivity: IDF Heroically Rescues Arab Israeli Hostage from Tunnels

Israel rescues Arabs from Arabs. Yup – that’s right. That’s exactly the reality in today’s Middle East. But don’t all of the Arabs just want a “palestinian state?” The answer is no. In private, many Arabs will admit that their life under the State of Israel is far better than it would be under any other arab entity – whether Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan, or Egypt. How do they know? Been there – done that.

Arabs who presently live in Judea and Samaria live under a dual situation. They are both part of the State of Israel, but also live under the palestinian authority. Al;though most will publicly say that they want their own State and are resentful of Israel’s occupation, they all know that if they need serious medical help, their best chance is an Israeli hospital. They know that their best chance for upward financial security is via working with Jewish people in the State of Israel.

Now, every bedouin Arab across Israel knows that Israel will risk its own soldiers to save the lives of every single Arab citizen of the State of Israel from Hamas terrorists who take them hostage. This Arab hostage was basically booby-trapped by Hamas terrorists and left to die in a deep tunnel. Israeli intelligence somehow figured out that he was there and that it would be extremely dangerous to rescue him. Israel’s Defense Forces did not hesitate. He’s alive because of Israel.

This example actually exemplifies the entire story of Arabs who live in the vicinity of the State of Israel, whether as citizens or not. There is indeed a chance for a peaceful future for Arabs in Judea and Samaria, Gaza, and even south Lebanon. But there chance is only via the Israeli Army saving them from the absolute tyranny that they live under – whether Hamas, the Palestinian Authority, or Hizbullah.
