WhatsappOne of the accusations that has been spread on the social media by channels like Piers Morgan, is that the IDF is purposely shooting Gazans standing on line at one of the American backed distribution centers – known has the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
The source for this claim is Hamas. No other corroboration from any other sources has backed up the Hamas propaganda being spread around the globe. What is happening is that the IDF who is standing guard over the approaches to the GHF distribution sites is using live fire to keep the crowds from straying off and moving near them, which would endanger the troops. Many times Hamas fires into the crowds to force them to stampede at the IDF positions. There are times that young Gazans are getting hit by crowd control methods, but this is not by design.
The fact is, the GHF is the most dangerous weapon against Hamas. The reason why is simple - Hamas’ entire grip on the Gaza Strip necessitates that it it the sole distributor over the humanitarian aid. Thats how it keeps the clans at bay as well forcing Gazans to pay high amounts of money for basics.
The GHF is taking away Hamas’ control over the people of Gaza. The more the program expands to other distribution sites as well as working directly with the clans, the more Hamas’ ability to hold on will wane. Of course this also means that the UN and other international agencies that have been in bed with Hamas for years will be exposed. This is the real source of the fabricated claims that the IDF is shooting Gazan civilians seeking aid.
No army is perfect, but it is clear the IDF has gone above and beyond any other army in the world. The UN and Hamas blood libel against the Jewish state is just that – propaganda tactic that is designed to swing world public opinion decidedly against the State of Israel. Israel may not have the ability to shut down the false claims, but it should not bend to them no matter what.
