After multiple stabbing attacks in and around Jerusalem and tensions clearly rising, Israel has strengthened Jerusalem ahead of Yom Kippur, the holiest day on the Jewish calendar.
The “Palestinian” street appears to have been energized by a number of factors over the course of the last few weeks. The American retreat from Afghanistan, Iranian progress towards a bomb, and the prison escape by terrorists from an Israeli prison.
This energy is rising as stabbing attacks, terror balloons from Gaza, and rocket attacks continue to increase. Bennett may feel secure in his foreign relations like was seen in Egypt with Egyptian president El-Sisi, but these photo-ops are doing nothing to allay the growing fears of Israeli society that their newest PM does not have the gravitas or know-how to steer Israel safely.
With Yom Kippur now upon the Jewish nation, there is a realization that only with unity and sense of purpose can Israel prevail.
