Miraculous Times
We are living in miraculous times. After eight years of the anti-Israel Obama administration, it is as if we are living in Messianic times! Nikki Haley is a true angel from above.
It is hard to imagine, but just a few years ago we were fearful of the Obama administration withholding the US veto on anti-Israel votes at the United Nations. Obama did nothing to stop the horrendous double standard against Israel at the UN. Nikki Haley is doing a lot!
Obama was a Real Danger
Obama never withheld the veto, until the end of his Presidency. That one move showed his true anti-Israel agenda for everyone to see.
We are referring to United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334, which was adopted on 23 December 2016.
Obama made sure to change the rules of the international game against Israel, right before he left the stage as President. Resolution 2334 was anti-Israel because it established, as international law, that Israel’s settlements in Judea and Samaria have “no legal validity”. It demands that Israel stop all settlement activity and fulfill its obligations as an “occupying power” under the Fourth Geneva Convention.
There is only one problem. According to international law, Israel was never an occupying power, and the fourth Geneva convention did not apply to Israeli control of Judea and Samaria. Israel liberated Judea and Samaria in a defensive war, after the Arab world attacked Israel to destroy her. The lands Israel won in that war were liberated from Jordanian control, that was never disputed by the world. Yet, since Israel liberated them from Jordan they then became occupied? No. Some call them disputed territories, but not occupied. People tried to claim that they were occupied, but it had no legal basis. But now, thanks to Obama, it is now international law that Israel is an occupier.
Thankfully we now have Nikki Haley in the United Nations doing everything in her power to stop the double standard against Israel. This double standard does not just affect Israel, it impacts all freedom loving people around the world.
True atrocities, genocides, human rights abuses take place every day, yet the UN does nothing to stop them. Instead the UN has always been hyper-focused on bashing Israel instead.
Let’s hope with President Trump and Nikki Haley, this will finally end.
