Hillel Neuer from UN Watch just explained why the rate of aliyah to Israel from Western countries is growing and will soon grow by leaps and bounds. It is not necessarily that the Western countries are driving Jews out of their countries. It is simply that Jews are feeling the ground under their feet to be shifting. Most people do not necessarily feel the changes in their day-in, day-out life. But everybody sees and knows that attacks are happening at double, triple, or more of the rate that used to occur.
The wishful thinking of so many that hope that this trend will be short-lived will be proven wrong in every city where the elected heads are proudly anti-semitic. New York, under Mayor Mamdani, is in the process of first losing it’s billionaires, then many of it’s multi-millionaires who are not interested in having their success fund socialist policies. Then, once Mayor Mamdani has solidified his power and gets reelected, he will allow and even encourage more anti-Jewish protests.
Most Jewish New Yorkers will stay put – for now. Inertia is always a far easier and more attractive option than uprooting. A minority will move across the Hudson to New Jersey or to other suburbs outside of the city. Many who can afford to will make sure to have a second home to turn to in Florida or another State that is more friendly to the Jewish people. They are wise. But those who understand that what is going on is actually the beginning of an eventual tidal wave of antisemitism that is sweeping across the Western democracies will make sure to invest in Israel or at least make sure they are encouraging their children to build their futures there.
Hillel Neuer is right about the lessons of history. Australia, England, France and Canada may have reached the point of no return in terms of their treatment of Jewish people. This is very hard to accept for someone living in Canada, a country that was recently led by Bryan Harper, one of the Jewish people’s staunchest supporters.
The difference is that now the boost in anti-semitism in the four countries mentioned, Australia, England, France, and Canada is a widespread grassroots movement that is growing faster than the rate of the Muslim birthrate in these countries. These are all countries who have allowed widespread migration of Muslims into their countries and are now understanding that they have basically decided to destroy themselves from within.
Islamaphobia exists for good reason. The fear of hearing the words Allah Akbar screamed in a crowded venue are logical and fact-based.
