There have been many discoveries of water cisterns that have been dug up around Jerusalem. The water carriers that were used back in the time of the First Temple were actually used until around 100 years ago. That means that for nearly 2,000 years, a waterway was used for people living in Jerusalem.
In Israel’s North, there are also amazing discoveries that have been found in some burial caves. That’s right – caves. New burial caves continue to be unearthed. Watch and see some discoveries from thousands of years ago.
