WhatsappIn the midst of the current uptick in terror, Arabs in Shchem burnt down and vandalized the tomb of Josef.
Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said the following concerning the destruction:
“Overnight Arabs destroyed Joseph’s Tomb. Dozens of Arab rioters in a campaign of destruction simply violated a holy place of the Jews. They broke the tombstone on the grave, set fire to rooms in the compound — I saw the pictures and was shocked. We will not abide such an assault on a place that is holy to us — on the eve of Passover — we will get the rioters. We will make sure to rebuild what they destroyed, as we always do.”
There is a direct correlation between the destruction of Josef’s Tomb and the terror. If one cannot protect the nation’s most holiest places, the enemies of Israel will see it as weak and eventually attack. Josef’s tomb stands at the forefront of the war on terror.
The destruction of the tomb is in direct violation of the Oslo accords and proves that the Arabs do not want us here. Will the Bennett government start listening?
