WhatsappThe Afghanistan debacle and Iranian nuclear negotiations continue to have their spill over effects as Islamic extremists continue to openly attack Israel from Gaza.
With PM Naftali Bennett flying to Washington, Islamic extremists in Gaza have begin to increase the amount of attacks into southern Israel. From terror balloons and rockets, Hamas and Islamic Jihad are beginning to attack more and more. Israel has also struck back – hitting terror targets in the Gaza strip and shutting down Rafiach.
While there it is not clear if this violence will spiral out of control, one thing is clear – Israel is becoming more and more isolated as America continues to retreat from the world stage.
China, Iran, and Russia are beginning a joint military drill. Beyond that, China has not wasted anytime and is former an alliance as well with the Taliban. This effectively cuts into India’s strength in the Near East and effectively surrounds Israel’s greatest ally outside of America.
Bennett might feel empowered speaking with Bide, but as he gets the photo ops he he has craved, the world as we know continues to collapse. At the end real leadership is about making tough choices. It may be time for us to find a new ally that can e relied on.
