WhatsappExtra! Extra! Read all about it! But there was nothing to read. All the outlets deleted the story. Twitter. Facebook. Even YouTube censored the story. I searched for it. I spent hours looking for it. I inquired others to find it. But it was gone.
What was gone? What was missing? Probably the single greatest eye witness testimony with a collaborating admission of guilt caught in an audio recording of a lawyer pleading with the witness not to go public.
I just sat stunned when I heard those words. “Tony. You are just going to bury all of us man.”
From that point on I was glued to the screen. As a child I watched for weeks on end how Senators did their best, using all their skills, knowledge, and experience to find out if then President Nixon had committed a crime against the United States Republic. Witness after witness. Testimony after testimony. One piece of evidence after another. All presented to the American people. That was the spring of 1974.
But when the audio recording of attorney at law Rob Walker, played by Tony Bobulinski was aired on television Wednesday evening, October 28, 2020, I could not believe my ears. This was the dream of every investigative reporter. To have such an admission of guilt. I was sure that headlines would read, “Extra! Extra! Read all about it! Biden Family Lawyer Admits to the Greatest Political Corruption in the History of Democracy, in US Annals”.
But no. The world just went on its way.
CBS. NBC. ABC. Twitter. Facebook. YouTube. All just ignored the most disturbing story of betrayal ever committed by a former Vice President of the United States. A former vice president now running for the highest and most powerful position in the world, the presidency of the USA.
It seemed that events could not get worse until the following evening when I found out that Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, Glen Greenwald, resigned from the very investigating website, “The Intercept,” he co-founded, stating, “The Intercept’s editors, in violation of my contractual right of editorial freedom, censored an article I wrote this week refusing to publish it unless I remove all sections critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, the candidate strongly supported by all New York based Intercept editors involved in this effort at suppression.”
Nearly fifty years ago, in a parking garage in Washington DC legendary investigative reporters, Bernstein and Woodward, met Deep Throat, the informant who revealed the truth and crimes of the Watergate Scandal. But now in America of 2020 when there are countless networks, social media platforms and endless means to communicate, just days before the most crucial presidential election in both US history and world democratic history no major outlet is presenting the most damning testimony of the business associate of the Bidens, who claims, substantiates, and proves with texts, emails and voice recordings that a then Vice President – Joe Biden – used his position to garnish millions of dollars from Communist China, one of history’s most inhumane regimes, as well as other foreign governments.
This is an outrage.
Imagine, if you will, if hours before you are to wed you were presented with evidence of your intended spouse recently cheating. Would you not halt the wedding ceremony to investigate the matter? Of course you would. Yet, no one is the halting the election on November 3, 2020.
Within the last four years, every three months there was one form of social unrest or upheaval that came and went. Me too. Immigration. Ban on those from terrorist lands. Charlottesville. Impeachment. Economic lockdown. BLM riots. Yet when the New York Post, a 200 year old news outlet, founded by one of America’s greatest founding fathers, Alexander Hamilton, places its reputation on the line and publishes articles detailing unprecedented corruption, which then is publicly validated by Biden’s ex-business partner and the family lawyer is deleted from the public forum then we have arrived at the crossroads reminiscent of George Orwell’s 1984.
The election of 2020 is no longer about the “Border Wall”, “Supreme Court packing”, “Peace in the Middle East”, the Economy, or even Covid. The election of 2020 is about every American’s right to vote based on knowledge and truth – to know the actual record of a candidate, specifically a candidate that has been accused of the worst crime of any society – treason.
I can only remember how as a young teen how I was completely overwhelmed with the end of the movie, “Justice For All” when the lead character, a defense attorney, played by Al Pacino, could no longer take the corruption and deceit of his client and yells at the top of his lungs, “That man is guilty. If he is allowed to go free something is really wrong. You are out of order. The whole trial is out of order.”
Yes. Something is truly out of order!
After 244 years of the greatest experiment in the history of human civilization for the quest for actualizing of human dignity, liberty, and the separation of powers maintained with the ever watchful eye of the free press, America and the world stands at the threshold to the ever-encroaching arms of a foreign totalitarian regime manipulating its highest officials.
Truly the system is OUT OF ORDER!!
