WhatsappLast week the United Nations Security Council rejected a US-sponsored resolution that would have indefinitely extended an international arms embargo on Iran that is about to expire.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed well the outrage from Israel to another wrong & unjust UN decision: “The decision of the UN Security Council not to renew the arms embargo on Iran is scandalous,” he continued “Iranian terrorism and aggression threaten the peace of the region and the entire world. Instead of opposing weapons sales, the Security Council is encouraging them.”
In reaction to this UN rejection of the United States’ resolution, President Trump just directed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to restore virtually all of the previously suspended United Nations sanctions on Iran!
The President continued: “Two years ago, I withdrew the United States from the disastrous Iran nuclear deal, which was a product of the Obama-Biden foreign policy failure, a failure like few people have seen in terms of the amount of money we paid for absolutely nothing in a short-term deal,” Trump said.
“I won’t say anything because I don’t like saying it, but Iran doesn’t have so much money to give to the world anymore — to the terrorists, to give to al-Qaeda, various other groups of people that they were funding.”

Obama’s Iran deal was a tragedy. It wasn’t stopping Iran from becoming a nuclear power but allowing it to become a nuclear power.
And in addition, Obama’s gave them $140 million in cash! Money used to further terrorize the region!
The leftist mainstream media, and Democrats, are furious at Trump’s intent to SnapBack sanctions, ignoring the United Nations recent vote! They fear that Trump’s decision for a “SnapBack” on sanctions will completely dismantle the remaining elements of the Iran deal.
First of all, Democrats must be reminded that even former President Obama admitted that the US can always SnapBack on sanctions.
Second of all, according to Israeli intelligence sources, Iran is not, and never was, abiding by the nuclear deal, so of course a SnapBack in sanctions are warranted.
This is just another reminder why Trump must be re-elected in November. If Biden wins, he will return the Obama doctrine of cozying up to Islamic regime of Iran, the biggest state sponsor of terror in the world, which is a disaster for all of humanity, not just for Israel and the USA.
