WhatsappWhether Saudi Arabia makes peace with Israel or not, one thing is clear, the Sunni Arab states and even some others are preparing to build a strong coalition to finally push back on Iran’s expansionism.
This is why the UAE took the plunge and made peace with Israel. Without Israel working closely with at least one of Gulf States the coalition of Sunnis would never truly materialize. After all most of these countries are autocratic and when it comes to working together they rather measure the amount of oil and gas revenue than pool their energy into fighting Iran.
The UAE understood that Israel’s technology, military, and will power makes it the perfect partner and fulcrum in which to tie themselves if they want to survive the Iranian threat. It will also force the other Gulf States to finally begin real cooperation in order to fight the Mullahs in Tehran.
