Trump Demands Iran Do This Or Else

Despite the confusion in negotiating positions, President Trump has now made it clear that Iran has only one choice regarding its nuclear program or face dire consequences.

In a sit down interview with NBC, President Trump was asked what his goals were for Iran’s nuclear program. Trump clarified, “Total dismantlement. Yes, that is all I would accept.” He added, “I want Iran to be really successful, really great, really fantastic. The only thing they can’t have is a nuclear weapon.”

This clarification comes at a time when Iran has essentially paused talks with the US over what seems intractable differences. Does this mean the US is about the attack Iran - not clear, but what is increasingly becoming clear is that Trump is not convinced there is any way out of the impasse with Iran without a certain amount of military action.

With the successful hit on Ben Gurion Airport yesterday by the Houthis and the rhetoric heating up on all sides, one should assume that the US is about to make a serious move against Iran, after all it was President Trump that said the following on Truth Social not so long ago.

In President Trump’s post in March, he ties Iran and the Houthis together and clearly holds the Iranian regime responsible for every attack the Houthis carry out. Netanyahu’s posting of this message is a clear indication that we can expect some sort of retaliation not only against the Houthis for hitting Ben Gurion Airport, but possibly a direct attack against Iran itself. If so, Iran will have to strike back, but given the coming firepower that will deployed agains them by both the US and Israel - it is not clear how much counter strike munitions the regime will have left to retaliate.
