This Horrible Story Sums Up Exactly Why The IDF Must Eliminate Hamas Once And For All

For many years, there has been an insistence by anti-Israel leaders that Israel split up it’s country into two. The line of a “two state solution” has been parroted endlessly by President after President. It has always been based on the idea that if only the two sides could sit down and compromise with each other, then everything will work itself out. This has proven to be nothing more than wishful thinking. The problem is that the price we have had to pay for this mistaken notion has been enormous.

The Hamas movement in Gaza was known, as they always declared, to not be interested in any form of a peaceful solution. However, many leaders continued to insist that if only Israel would allow the Arabs to have their own State, then everything will be fine. But the Hamas leadership never supported or did anything that would enable or justify coexistence.

It was really never that complicated. Israel took a reckless risk when they removed nearly 10,000 Jewish residents out of Gaza, and basically created an Arab State within the State of Israel. Very quickly, Israel had a full-fledged mini-terrorist State on it’s side that was manufacturing, importing, and digging terrorist infrastructure on a massive scale. There was nothing about the Arabs in Gaza that was focused on any solution accept for an attempt to complete the “Final Solution” of Nazi Germany.

Though many in Israel seemed to be stunned, many were less surprised. But the ferocity and the ability to succeed in penetrating Israel’s defenses startled many. It really should not have. A country that turns to hi-tech border fences instead of soldiers on guard using hi-tech gadgets is being irresponsible. The Hamas ideology is alive and well in Judea and Samaria and other places across Israel.

There is no reason that Israel should ever take threats at face value from the Hamas. They always have and continue to mean what they threaten. The only peaceful solution will come when enough Arabs choose to lay down their weapons for whatever reason or when the Israel Defense Forces disarm and eradicate the terrorist threat once and for all.
