Druze IDF Soldier Returns Home
Just like Jewish soldiers miss their families and their families miss them, so too with the Druze IDF soldiers and other soldiers. Israel is a unique country with a unique army. Although Israel’s army is mainly Jewish, those from other religions serve as well. You can see here that a Druze soldier is serving! Why? Because he also believes in defending the state of Israel and all that it represents. He too believes in defeating Hamas – an evil, vicious terror organization. You don’t have to be Jewish to see the truth about Israel. You don’t have to be Jewish to want to defend the homeland of the Jewish people.
It’s mind-boggling that people claim Israel is an apartheid state. Is Israel a perfect country? Definitely not. But it is a good country that represents the values that good people care about. It is far from an apartheid state. You don’t even need to search far and wide to see that. You can just come to Jerusalem and see the blending of cultures. You can see Jews, Arabs, Christians, and others walking side by side in the streets. You can hear announcements in three different languages at the Jerusalem light-rail station – in Hebrew, Arabic, and English. And you can just look at this video of a Druze IDF soldier. If Israel was an apartheid state, this man wouldn’t be allowed to serve in the army.
The family of this young Druze soldier did not abandon him for serving in the IDF. They are giving him a hero’s welcome.
Don’t believe what most of the media shares about Israel. This is the truth. And the world needs to know it.
