WhatsappIsrael, a country known for sending help across the world, whenever and where ever it is needed. An Israeli Humanitarian Aid Team made up of doctors, firefighters and more travel to Brazil.

Brazil is the largest country in South America, with a population if over 208 million people. Brumadinho is a city located in south east Brazil, people began to settle in this area in the 1600s, but it was only established as a city in 1938. The Brumadinho Dam in Brazil collapsed on 25th January 2019. The dam released a mudflow that advanced over houses and into areas near the city. Over 200 people died as the dam collapsed.
Israel To The Rescue
In solidarity with the Brazilian Government, Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu sent a search and rescue party to help. Including in this team were over 130 people, including doctors and firefighters to help with the search of finding people in the wreckage. Israel has suffered over the years since its establishment has the resources and sent help.
Israel, nowadays, does not have a great reputation. In today’s world there are many antisemitic countries. Israel needs to show the world what it can do. Israel needs to prove and show the world the good it can do and how they can help others.
Israel has not only sent aid workers to Brazil but it has sent to many other places as well. Israel has sent to Hati, after the earthquake hit in January 2010. They sent aid to Japan in March 2011 after another earthquake. After Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Israel was the first country to send aid.
Israel Humanitarian Aid
In 1958, only 10 years after creation Israel set up Mashav, who control Israel’s Humanitarian efforts. They send aid to places all over the world who are in need. They also assist to alleviate global problems, such as hunger, disease and poverty. Israel has provided humanitarian aid to over 140 countries worldwide.
By tragic circumstances, Israel is the world’s leading expert in dealing with mass casualties. Much to the world’s surprise, Israel has helped many children in Gaza and many cities across the Palestinian Authorities, and countries such as Syria. They bring young children from all these places give them the medical care they need.
