The seeming obsession of pro-Israel pundits on Tucker Carlson is correct. He is the #1 voice in the Western world today who is standing up loud and clear to lambast Israel at every turn and turn every Israel hater into a moderate and reasonable voice. Candace Owens is a powerful voice too, but not as respected. Tucker was indeed the host of the #1 show on Fox Cable for many years and is considered by millions as a voice of reason. If he says Sharia Law is not dangerous, then maybe he has a point? He is impacting millions.
This all goes to prove that one must always be vigilant with one’s friends. As much as they may seem like they are on your side, people are willing to switch sides – whether for power, for money, or other reasons.
Tucker Carlson is now an independent journalist who will probably build up his own independent news network to take on Fox News before the 2028 elections. But he needs more money than he has today to do that. That will only come from Qatar and other countries who are swimming in oil. That is why Tucker needs them. Tucker was probably very put off by his dismissal and plans to become the most powerful news media personality in the United States.
That would explain the sudden “change of heart” that most people in their mid 50’s generally do not have. Dave Rubin is correct in noting that all of this cozying up to Qatar is due to financial reasons. Most people have trouble understanding why a multimillionaire would be looking to bring in another few millions. But this is not about wealth. It is about power and influence. And if Tucker wants to lead the isolationist Republican side of the United States over the next decade or two, he needs to build an independent network. The perfect funders are the wealthy Arab countries who only want to throw Israel under the bus. He is clearly willing to do that in order to grow his future network.
