Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch says it with such eloquence. The Jewish people are proud of the fact that they have instilled in their youth values such as justice, honor, decency, and yes – Zionism. The words “Tikkun Olam” were the code words that signified for many Reform leaders the central thesis of what was preached to manyh in the next generation. But now, the Rabbi explains so vividly that they did NOT intend for the next generation to take the concept of Tikkun Olam and decide to throw away their support of the State of Israel.
To all our young people this #YomKippur: we tried to instill in you a sense of justice, righteousness and honor for all people. We are proud when your generation actively pursues these values. But we did not intend for some in your generation to turn their backs on our people… pic.twitter.com/TLWBUjSqWC

The leaders of the Reform Jewish movement did NOT intend to raise children who would join in anti-Israel and anti-Jewish riots on college campuses due to their distorted concepts of “Tikkun Olam.” That does not accomplish the stated goal of bettering the world. It is a clear decision to side with the dark forces of the world that support modern-day pogroms and hatred of the Jewish people.
Will the actions of the Jewish haters be sufficient to wake up the young Jewish people? Will they realize that the very people they are joining hate them just as much as they hate the Israelis that they are jointly protesting?
The Jews in Germany who bravely fought in World War I were not treated any better than other Jews. They ended up in gas chambers too. Not only in Germany, but anywhere that Jew-hatred festers, no differences are made between Jew and Jew. Hopefully, Rabbi Ammiel Hirsch will wake up at least some of what seems like the lost generation.
