Mike Pompeo Tries to Set America Straight
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said it well: “Censorship, wokeness, political correctness – it all points in one direction: authoritarianism cloaked as moral righteousness.”
America is at a crossroads. Will the country and its people wake up to what really needs to happen to keep America the free country that it is? Do Americans not realize that what many of them support is what will bring the country down? America was not founded upon a Marxist ideology. It is not supposed to be a country that bans free speech like China and others do. America is a country of freedom; a country where people on both sides of the political spectrum should be able to voice their opinions. But social media platforms have silenced Conservatives. Leftists say they oppose racism and sexism, but if it is a Black Conservative woman like Candace Owens – she will be censored. Leftists says that everyone should be treated equally – but only if you agree with their opinions and worldview.
Pompeo is calling on Americans to please wake up. Wake up and “put wokeism to sleep.”
