There are a lot of hints that a normalization deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia is in the works.

While peace between Israel and Saudi Arabia will take time, there are already interesting developments. For one, officials from Saudi Arabia met with the heads of America’s Jewish community. They made it clear that they want peace with Israel.

Interestingly, there were only three conditions:

  1. A reaffirmation of the American-Saudi Arabia Alliance
  2. A restart of American weapons sales to Saudi Arabia comparable to other NATO members
  3. Permission to have a civilian nuclear program

Notice what issue is not one of the conditions. Thats right the “palestinians.”

Israel has certainly moved into a new league when the Sunni Arab states have realized that the “palestinian” issue is no issue at all.
