WhatsappThis video is a satirical joke. But it is frighteningly accurate in describing what could become reality in the coming years. There are dangerous people in powerful positions around the world who hold back from aggression and committing atrocities due to fear of the President of the United States. Many people believe today that the terror that has been inflicted in Afghanistan, Ukraine and Israel by the bad actors is directly due to the lack of fear that the bad actors have of an effective American response.
Despite the fact that Kamala Harris is clearly a lightweight on the international stage, one thing should be noted. If she were to assume the Presidency, she would almost definitely bring on an experienced hand to be Secretary of State, who has strong international credentials. So shouldn’t that calm the American public? No.
Barack Obama was not very different in 2008 than Kamala Harris is now. He obviously was far more educated and had more to offer when campaigning. He was an amazing interviewer and did not need to hide from tough questions. He knew how to cloak his inexperience via inspiring words like change and “yes, we can.”
But he also had close to no experience in the field of foreign relations. What he had was a strong ideology against American exceptionalism. He did not believe that America should exert itself forcefully on the international stage and worked hard to weaken the bond between America and Israel in order to create pressure on Israel to accept a new state called “Palestine” in the very heart of Israel.
So he hired John Kerry to be his Secretary of State, weakened the reputation of America abroad, and pressured Israel for eight years. Kamala Harris would basically function similarly. Would that be so bad? Yes. If America does not have a strong foreign policy vis-a-vis Iran, Russia, and China, the world could indeed devolve more quickly than we could imagine to a state of World War III. The worldwide radical Islamic movement, Chinese attempts to grab more and more power in the Far East, Africa, and Europe, and Russian aggression towards Eastern Europe are all world threats that will not stay on the East of the Atlantic.
Radical Islamic ideology has already infiltrated large swaths of Europe and has been flooding into America for many years. Chinese influence on Universities and across America in general is downright scary, and we should never underestimate the seriousness of Vladimir Putin’s threats to use tactical nuclear weapons. Would Donald Trump do a better job handling the bad actors? Based on his first term in office, the answer is probably yes. But he is more unpredictable.
We know what a Kamala Harris Presidency would look like – a mix of the failed policies of the Obama administration and the Biden Administration.
