The 2005 Gaza Disengagement
18 years have passed since Israel removed every single Jew from Gaza. That time period was a tragic and painful time for the Jewish people. The fact that anyone still believes Israel can give up land for peace after the Gaza disengagement is absolutely insane.
The so-called “Palestinians” don’t want peace. They don’t want Israel to exist. They don’t want the Jewish people to exist. It can’t be anymore obvious than it already is. They don’t even hide it! So why would Israel ever give up more of its precious land?
We have seen the disaster that giving up land causes. Thousands upon thousands of rockets have been fired at Israel in the last 18 years. Innocent Jewish men, women, and children have been murdered. Terror tunnels have been built. Gaza is a terror city with Hamas in charge. Nothing good came out of giving up Gaza and destroying the Jewish communities that existed there.
And sadly, many still suffer from the disengagement. Jews lost what they had built up there.
Please G-d, the Jewish people will return to all parts of the land of Israel soon. Let’s pray that the world wakes up. Let’s pray that Israel’s leaders defend every inch of the land of Israel and give none of it to our enemies ever again. Let’s pray that the lessons from the Gaza disengagement in 2005 have been learned and internalized.
